“La maille” (2017)

For a long time, I wanted to integrate voice and movement into one of my creations. I have a particular attraction for the songs related to absence and longing. One day, when I was knitting a scarf with my mother, it started to appear to me as the incarnation of this nostalgic feeling. Bruce Cawdron, with his great musical sensitivity, is the perfect partner to accompany me … one mesh at a time.
