WHERE THE BREEZE IS GENTLE 2020
Where the breeze is gentle is a dance film based on the Gitagovinda of Jayadeva, a 12th century sanskrit poem about the union, separation and reunion of Lord Krsna and Radha. The central sentiment explored in this poetry is Bhakti - devotion, seeking God through love and surrender. It was inspired by Guru Mayadhar Raut’s choreography Rati Sukasare which is part of the Odissi dance repertoire.
